Shanghai also has 150,000 officially registered foreigners, including 31,500 Japanese, 21,000 Americans and 20,700 Koreans. Of course, this is based on official figures, so the real number of foreign citizens in the city is probably much higher.Shanghai has one of the highest life expectancies in the world, and the highest in mainland China, at 82.13 years.
