The port comprises 50 berths of 10,000 ton capacity, 14 buoys of 10,000 ton capacity and 23 anchorage of 10,000 ton capacity. In 2011, the cargo throughput climbed by 5.3 percent year-on-year to 447.6331 million tones, the container throughput by 13.4 percent to 14.407 million; ranking sixth and seventh respectively in the world.
