What is a Z Visa?
China Z Visa, also called China Work visa, is issued to foreigners who are going to China for a paid job offer or to undertake commercial entertainment performances in China.
What is the validity of a Z Visa?
This Z visa itself only allows a stay duration of 30 days from the date of arrival in China. After entering China, the holder must apply to the exit Entry Administration Department of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level to apply for a residence certificate within 30 days after entering China, unless the residence period is 30 days and the visa indicates "the working hours shall not exceed the period specified in the work certificate".
What materials are required for Z Visa application?
1. Passport: the original passport valid for more than 6 months with blank visa page and 1 copy of passport photo information page.
2. Visa application form and photo: 1 copy of the "people's Republic of China visa application form" and a recent photo of the front, bareheaded and light background color passport pasted on the application form.
3. Certificate of legal stay or residence (applicable to those who do not apply for a visa in the country of nationality): if you do not apply for a visa in the country of nationality, you need to provide the original and copy of the valid certificate or valid visa for your legal stay, residence, work and study in your country.
Original Chinese passport or original Chinese visa (applicable to those who have Chinese nationality and later joined foreign nationality);
5. Work Permit(The "work permit for foreign experts in China" or "notice on work permit for foreigners" issued by the Bureau of foreign experts affairs;
How to apply for the Z visa?
Generally you can apply for the Z visa from the Chinese embassy. But since there quite lots of files need to be provided by both the applier and the company who hires the person. It is better to hire a professional agency for the application.
