The companies and organizations registered in China Mainland can apply for subscription accounts and advanced protocols such as WeChat Pay according to the latest rule by Tencent.
If you have a Chinese entity (Chinese business license), you just made your life a lot easier. Now get the following list of documents ready and follow the steps for registration:
Chinese ID: the ID owner will be the admin of the account. Access to their personal WeChat.
Phone Number: phone number of the Chinese admin. They will receive a code to the number that must be inputted upon registration.
RMB 300: WeChat Official Account Verification fee and charged annually.
E-mail Address To Be Linked to the Account: this is only used for registration/renewal. No other messages will go to this e-mail regarding the WOA.
Company Chop/Seal: we need the physical company seal to stamp a document that will then be uploaded for authentication purposes.
Logo: your brand / WOA logo in either jpg/png format.
Name of the Account: what will your WOA be called? You need to think about it carefully as WeChat only allows you to change the name once upon renewal.
Account Introduction: cannot exceed 150 characters. Keep it short and simple.
Business License: a digital version of your Chinese business license is required to upload to WeChat for company authentication.
Bank Account Opening Permit letter : you need to fill in information includes your bank account number, branch name, etc. The best is to have a digital copy of the certificate available.
WeChat ID number will be set and help people search and find your WOA.The ID should be related to business / WOA name.
