For aiding the foreigners to pass the Dongguan custom conveinent and easily . ATAHK we supply the information "Passenger Clearance and Customs Declaration" -- Dongguan Customs Rules & Information , as follows :

1.Self-use items exceeding 5,000 RMB (such as cameras, video cameras and laptops) and cash exceeding 20,000 RMB or foreign currency exceeding 5,000 USD need to be announced upon exit.

2. Precious animals and plants, cultural relics and manuscripts, printed materials, photographs, records, movies, tapes, video tapes, CDs, DVDs, computer storage mediums and other articles involving confidential information are not permitted to exit the country.

3. People exiting the country carrying between 5,000 and 10,000 USD values of foreign cash need to apply for a Carrying Permit from designated banks, which customs shall inspect. In principle, people should not carry foreign cash valued at more than 10,000 USD.

4. Short term luggage (trips less than one year) is limited to traveling necessities, which should be taken when leaving China..

5. With a Permanent Residence Permit, foreigners will receive a tax exemption for self-use items excluding 20 goods specified by national regulation.

6. Self-use items with a value of more than 5,000 RMB including items bought by residents abroad, and items exceeding 2,000 RMB that non-residents plan to leave in China need to be announced to Customs.

7. Cash exceeding 20,000 RMB or foreign currency exceeding 5,000 USD needs to be announced to Customs.

8. Printed materials such as photographs, records, movies, tapes, video tapes, CDs, DVDs, computer storage mediums and other articles which are harmful to China politically, economically, culturally or morally are prohibited.

9. Cultural relics, antiques, endangered animals, plants or products, biological resources, and precious metal such as gold and silver need to be announced upon exit.
