Thailand companies can apply to join the Thai Code Association in the name of the company. After joining the association, they can register Thai commodity barcodes, which can then be printed on the outer packaging of the corresponding commodities.The barcode of a commodity is a basic "identity" , because scanning the barcode can query commodity information, production location, date, and so on. So how to apply for a barcode in Thailand?
1, Basic knowledge of commodity barcode
Commodity barcode is a special symbol that converts the digital code representing commodity information into a set of regularly arranged parallel lines. The information it represents is the international commodity code. Commodity barcodes are the "identity card" of commodities and the "common language" for commodities circulating in the international market.
2, Why place barcode on products
Commodity barcodes are both basic premise of achieving commercial modernization and admission tickets for commodities entering the market and POS scanning stores. It is considered a rite of passage to boost market competitive, encourage import and export and realize automation of production and circulation. In recent years, authorities has ruled products without barcodes are not allowed in many of cities in China (Like Guangdong Province, Beijing, Shanghai and Fujian).
3, Documents need to prepare

2)Certified copy of House Registration and certified copy of Commercial Registration Certificate (Commercial Only);
3)Certified copy of Registering of Establishment from Ministry of Commerce (Group of Person only);
